The Arts Council is honored to distribute grant funding to nonprofit arts presenters, cultural groups and professional artists thanks to funding by the Monterey County Board of Supervisors as administered by the Overall Economic Development Commission. The Arts Council grant funds are awarded on a competitive review basis each year based on overall impact and level of service to Monterey County families.
Our goal is to strengthen these arts presenters so that together we may provide the best possible services to Monterey County residents. The new audiences of today will be the experienced audiences, volunteers, donors, artists –and the aware, active and productive citizens of tomorrow.
Deadline for Autumn is October 15.
Send a request for guidelines and application to paulette@arts4mc.org

Thanks to support from the Monterey County Board of Supervisors, grants are now available to non-profit arts presenters.
Our main goal with the grants is to achieve a sustainable arts sector by increasing, deepening and diversifying participation among Monterey County residents. Total funding available for 2009-2010 is $185,000.

If you want to pursue grant funds of any sort, you must have either your very own 501(c)3 status officially granted by the IRS. You do have one option for the short-term -- a fiscal sponsor. One of the best routes to getting a fiscal sponsor may be Fractured Atlas. Click Here:
