Ron Dias - Lifetime Achievement
One of our nation’s outstanding animation artists, Ron is a Disney Artist/Illustrator who has contributed to every major studio over the years. His work is found in television, commercials, feature films and educational films. His fine artwork also captures a subtle magic. Watch our videos for more!
Belle Yang - Luminary An author and illustrator whose life and work cross many boundaries. She is the author of both children’s books and novels. Maxine Hong Kingston has said of her “In Belle Yang we have our Isaac Bashevis Singer and Marc Chagal”. Belle also finds time to glean with Ag Against Hunger! Watch our videos for more!
Tonatiuh Danzantes Del Quinto Sol – Nonprofit Founded in East Salinas in 1992 by Ramon Silva, the principal teacher/ choreographer. Each year, he carefully selects dozens of youth and trains them in all aspects of dances from Mexico including their unique cultural heritage. Their spectacular concerts can feature up to 100 dancers. Watch our videos for more!

Carol Diggery Shields - Professional Active in Aromas Hills Artisans, artist, performer, award-winning author and illustrator. Carol’s dedication to expanding literacy by making reading fun shines through in works like Saturday Night at the Dinosaur Stomp and Monday, Monday, Rise and Shine.s to exhibit their work. Carla Baldassari - Educator A passionate advocate and an accomplished painter, Carla developed the very first trainings for K-8 Visual Arts program for the Soledad School District as a Lead Teacher. She was also the first trainer and mentor for the interns in the Arts Council Professional Artist in the Schools Program. . Watch our videos for more!.
EWalker James - Philanthropist An inspiring and engaging leader in a wide range of organizations dedicated to our community. In the arts alone, Ewalker’s leadership spans his roles as board member of both the Monterey Blues Festival and the Monterey Jazz festival and board president of the Seaside Cultural Arts Group. William Stone - Volunteer (accepted by his family) He shared his wonderful talent and knowledge with young people while serving on the board of directors of the Carmel Art Association. William also volunteered regularly with the Monterey History and Art Association as well as the Camerata Singers and other community organizations. Watch our videos for more!
